Some links come from journal sites, such as Science Magazine. Typically these sites limit public access to their materials. If you live on campus, or are using a computer located on campus you don't need to worry about accessing the information. However, if you live off campus you are located outside of the campus firewall and therefore do not have University access to these resources. In order to gain access you need to set up VPN & configure computer to use the library's proxy. After completing these steps you can access the resources as if you were on campus. Links to sites that give instructions on configuring these services can be found under "General".
